Private Brush Lettering Classes
Ever wanted to try Brush Lettered Calligraphy but don’t know where to start? Here’s your chance to learn how!
Enjoy a 3 hour Private Beginner Brush Letting Classes at your location! Perfect for small groups, Birthday’s, Hens Day experiences and Baby Showers.
After a brief workshop intro, we will start with some warm-ups and drills where you will start to learn the technique. I will then guide you through the basic letter forms using upper and lower case where you will gain more confidence to create your very own style!
You will also receive two blank cards and envelopes or 2 small kraft bags to use for ftuture projects.
Experience required: NONE. This is suitable for beginners!
Classes are limited to a maximum of 10 people to ensure that I can properly assist everyone during each lesson. We pause for a short break during each class. I also have a valid Working With Children / Blue Card for teaching teen / young adult birthdays / gatherings.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?
Everyone will also recieve a Brush Lettering Kit which includes:
➔ A Brush Tip Pen with actual bristles that we will use throughout the class.
➔ A Brush Lettering Basics work book that I guide you through during the class.
➔ My Brush Lettering Basics ‘Support Zine’. A handy 12 page guide to keep you motivated to practice, plus some project inspo.
➔ Your choice of either 2 blank cards with envelopes or 2 small kraft bags for future projects.
3 HOUR CLASS PRICING:
$260 for 1 individual personal lesson.
$160 per guest for 2+ guests.
$140 per guest for 4+ guests.
CLASSES CAPPED AT 10 PEOPLE
You are more than welcome to theme your private gathering as a ‘Brush Lettering and Bubbles’, or ‘Caligraphy and Cocktails’ session. You can supply your nibblies and drinks in the middle of the table and I will work around your requirements. We do pause halfway through for a short break which is always a lovely way to catch-up with everyone to see each others progress, stretch their legs and have a cuppa / snack.

I attended Helen’s Christmas themed workshop. As a beginner, I was impressed at her attentiveness to everyone in the group. Botanical Names
I create beautiful botanical keepsakes to mark special occasions. Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, bridal party gifts, milestones or to simply frame for a bedroom wall.
My pieces are created on acid free 200gsm extra smooth Bristol Paper and hand styled using waterproof and fade proof pigment ink pens. Each piece comes unframed in a secure tube. If you are a Brisbane local, pick-up or delivery of the piece can be easily oragnised. Otherwise I will send via registered mail.
NOTE: For privacy reasons, I do not show birth dates when showcasing my commissioned works.
What happens after I submit my enquiry?
Once I recieve your full brief regarding your commision enquiry along with your style preference, I will send through a quote. Once you have signed off and I have received your deposit payment, I then start on a pencil draft of your piece and we go from there. The usual turn around time is 2-3 weeks depending of the complexity and the size of the piece that you have requested.
PAYMENT
I’ll send you an invoice with an upfront deposit of 50% of your quoted price prior to any work starting. You’ll receive the final invoice once my work is completed and you have signed off. I accept electronic bank transfers. Paypal may also be requested.
Custom Calligraphy
I create custom calligraphy pieces. These are usually requested for work colleagues, anniversaries, milestones, quotes or in remembrance.
